Mung bean sprouts compliment light meals at any time of the year. The mild slightly nutty taste gives a distinctive flavour to vegetable dishes, salads and many other dishes. Mung bean sprouts are an excellent source of essential nutrients and contribute to a healthy, balanced nutrition.

Mung bean sprouts contain vitamins A, B1, B2, B3, B12 and C, plenty of Iron, Potassium, Calcium, Magnesium and Phosphorous.

How to use Mung bean seeds for sprouting

Before sprouting, rinse thoroughly in fresh water then soak for 12 hours. 

For best results, sow seeds thinly. 

Germination time may vary with temperature. 

Amount per tray / jar: 1.5 tablespoons of seeds.

Temperature: 18 – 22°C.

Rinse: Twice daily.

Ready to eat: After approximately 4 to 5 days.
